The Atlanta Falcons haven’t made the playoffs since 2017, which has resulted in favorable draft picks over the past several years.
They have continued to invest heavily into their offense, using first-round picks on skill-position players in the last three drafts.
One of those investments was in the 2022 draft, as they selected Drake London with the eighth overall pick.
In a recent conversation with the Good Morning Football crew, Grady Jarrett expressed his excitement about London for the upcoming year.
“I think it’s his time to shine,” Jarrett said about London.

London is entering his second NFL season and is coming off a 72-reception, 866-yard rookie campaign.
This was despite the Falcons’ propensity to run the football, as they seemed to refuse to pass, even when they were behind in games.
Jarrett pointed to the rapport between London and Desmond Ridder as a likely indicator of his potential success.
Ridder was also taken in last year’s draft and was one of the more polarizing quarterback prospects in 2022.
Regardless, it appears that the Falcons are in line to not only pass the ball more but feature their star players as a result.
The hope for many fans is that this will result in electric, highlight plays.
Jarrett is still a member of the Falcons, and he can witness what London does daily.
If what he is saying is true, London’s 2023 season could surprise many.
The NFC South appears to be up for grabs.
Will the Falcons be able to take the division home this year?
