The NBA Draft is on the horizon and we are all excited for it.
A new crop of young players get to enter the league.
Most of the time we do not know who these prospects are and what they bring to the table.
We might see them in a few games in college.
Then when the draft gets closer, we see the YouTube videos of their game.
It is hard to get to know these prospects so fast.
However, there is a prospect that fans need to know.
That player is Jalen Green.
Green is a consensus top three pick in this draft.
There is so much you need to know about a guy that is oozing with so much star potential.
Here are three facts about Green as he will soon be drafted to the NBA.
3. He Is An Athletic Freak Of Nature
Green is a special talent.
The man is very unique and has a crazy ability to jump out of the gym.
Green’s vertical has not been measured, but it might not need to be.
He is constantly above the rim.
Defenders have a hard time with Green on backdoor cuts, as it is an easy alley-oop every time.

As soon as Green enters the league, he will be one of the premier athletes in all of the NBA.
2. He Was The Best Player In High School
This might not mean the world to scouts, but it has to be important.
Green was the best player in his high school class.
That class includes top five prospects Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs, and Jonathan Kuminga.
Green was ahead of all of these guys.
Perhaps the reason why he isn’t the consensus first pick is due to him going to the G-League route.
He did not have the main stage to show out like a Cunningham.
Green is obviously still known and is most likely going second in this draft.

However, there was a time where Green was over Cunningham and it was not a debate.
1. He Performed Great Against NBA Talent Already
Green did not go to college like Cunningham or Suggs.
Instead he decided to play for the new G-League team that was dedicated to draft hopefuls.
At 18 years old, you wouldn’t think that someone of that age can play against NBA players.
The G-League is consisted of former NBA players scratching their way back to the NBA and young players that are there trying to work on their game to get back on the roster.
They have had the NBA-type of training and have been accustomed to that lifestyle.
Green came in and adjusted well.
Jalen Green has that generational combo of athleticism, grit and skill.
His scoring touch and handle + overall feel for the game paired with his freakish tools and basketball frame will make him a nightmare to defend in the league. Sky is the limit. #DraftTalk pic.twitter.com/y6ehHagLyW

He averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
There was also 1.5 steals per game for the young prospect as well.
A lot of young players struggle with shooting, but Green did not.
He shot 46 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from three.
Green is already prepared to play and compete against the NBA talent.
