The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a big win against the Green Bay Packers.
In their Week 8 victory, Dalvin Cook stole the show recording all four of the Vikings touchdowns.
Although they are having a disappointing season, it was a good confidence boost for this team to defeat their fellow divisional rival.
This week, the Minnesota Vikings are set off to face another divisional rival, Detroit Lions.
This should be good a matchup as both teams are looking to keep their seasons alive.
Another intriguing part of this matchup is that the Vikings will be seeing a familiar face on the opposing side: DE, Everson Griffin
Everson Griffin Trolls Vikings Fans On Social Media
Everson Griffin might have some bad blood with the Minnesota Vikings as they released him prior to the season.
He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys and then traded to the Detroit Lions prior to the trade deadline.

Griffin is now set to make his debut against his former team, the Minnesota Vikings.
Prior to this week’s matchup, Griffin has been having some fun on social media.
This actual funny.

Griff sure is excited to get back on the field and face his former team.

Players always feel an extra sense of motivation facing a former team that released them.
Everson Griffin knows his former team well as he played in Minnesota for 9 years.
Trolling is all fun and games, but Griff knows that it’s all about business on game day.
Might I add, it seems that he is extra fired up after what Coach Zimmer said about him.
Minnesota Vikings HC Mike Zimmer Calls Griffin A “Good Player”
Ahead of his debut with the Lions, Minnesota Vikings HC Mike Zimmer was asked about Griffin.
Touching upon Griffin’s time in Minnesota, he refers to him as a “good player”.
Griffin, of course, took offense as he felt he did great things in his time with the Vikings.
He took the liberty to respond to his former head coach.
Everson Griffen took offense to Mike Zimmer calling him a "good player." Griffen feels he deserved to be called a great player for what he did in Minnesota.
"For him to call me a good player, that kind of hurts my feelings," Griffen said.

Throughout his year 9 stunt with the Vikings, Griffin totaled 74.5 sacks.
Lions fans are excited about the acquisition of Griffin as they know all too well how dominant of a player he is.
I’m way to excited for this week. I can’t wait to turn up for real. Only the real ones survive. LFG https://t.co/k2akiUsnwR

If the Lions want any chance of salvaging their season, it starts with a win on Sunday.
Griff would be more than happy to knock off his former team.
