After months of speculation and uncertainty, things appear to be heating up on the trade front when it comes to Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, with rumors surfacing about multiple teams reaching out to the team with interest in the superstar guard.
Despite Lillard being adamant about wanting to be traded to the Miami Heat, the Blazers seem to be leaning in another direction, with Portland reportedly not talking to Pat Riley and company about a deal.
According to ESPN’s Marc J. Spears, the Milwaukee Bucks are one of the latest teams to have conversations with the Blazers about a potential blockbuster trade involving Lillard, which is interesting considering all the buzz about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future, via NBACentral.

Along with the Bucks, the Toronto Raptors have shown interest in trading for Lillard and have been called the favorite to land the superstar guard before the start of the season.
The real question now is what the Bucks and Raptors are offering the Blazers in exchange for the perennial All-Star, as it will obviously come down to the best trade package that gets a deal done for Portland.
The Bucks could get aggressive in trade talks if they feel like they could be in danger of losing Antetokounmpo in the near future, and it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that the face of the franchise asked the team to look into trading for the Blazers superstar.
With the start of the season right around the corner, trade talks will likely kick into high gear, with a deal happening sooner rather than later.
