The Philadelphia Eagles will have to get by without Javon Hargrave next season, but he might not be the only defensive stalwart that won’t be back with the team.
A report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter stated that the team is looking to release star CB Darius Slay, just days after the news broke of the team granting his agent permission to pursue a trade.
Slay took to his podcast to put the word out that there were no hard feelings between him, GM Howie Roseman, or the Eagles organization, stating that he would love to be back with the team but that it was all a part of the business side of the game.
So, now that he’s clearly not a part of the team’s plans going forward, it seems like the front office will have a tough time appeasing another one of their stars.
Apparently, WR AJ Brown didn’t like to find out about this at all, sharing his reaction with a hilarious GIF in a now-deleted Tweet.

Brown has never shied away from controversy, and he won’t hesitate to call the front office out if he doesn’t like the direction the team is heading, which is one of the reasons why the Tennesee Titans chose to trade him in the first place.
He’s already stated that he would leave the team if they don’t pay Jalen Hurts, so they better take care of that situation before he tries and force his way out, as they cannot afford to watch him go as well.
