The Philadelphia Eagles‘ mission for the 2022 season is clear.
Make a return to the playoffs and possibly push towards Super Bowl LVII.
They have assembled a unit that can lead them there, starting with quarterback Jalen Hurts.
The Eagles also have one of the best backfield groups in the league: Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott.
Their receiving corps won’t be left behind with Quez Watkins, DeVonta Smith, and A.J. Brown.
They also made some additions on defense, particularly James Bradberry and Haason Reddick.
However, their preparation for the upcoming season ran into a minor hiccup.
Initially, they were scheduled to have a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins before their preseason game.
But as NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo tweeted, the Dolphins had to beg off because some of their players got sick and vomited overnight due to a stomach bug.
In response, the Eagles will continue the practice even if they are in Miami.
The Eagles will hold an intrateam practice today at the Dolphins facility. No members of the travel party have presented symptoms to date. After communication with their counterparts at the Dolphins, team medical officials are confident the team is in a good place to practice.

Eagles Should Make Headway Early In The Season
After their preseason game versus the Dolphins, the Eagles will start their campaign against four teams that didn’t make it to last year’s playoffs.
They will kick off their season against the Detroit Lions on September 11.
A week later, they will face the Minnesota Vikings at home.
Completing their first four weeks are clashes with the Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles should do well in these games before their schedule gets tougher.
