There’s much room for improvement with the Philadelphia Eagles‘ receiving corps.
They have found a primary receiver in DeVonta Smith, who finished with 916 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Quez Watkins also showed promise with 647 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately, their other wideouts have been disappointments, including J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Jalen Reagor.
The Eagles cannot afford the passing game to become the weak point of their offense.
After all, they already have a solid backfield unit with Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell.
Likewise, adding talented targets also helps Jalen Hurts perform his job better.
That’s why the Eagles are hosting a top wide receiver prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft, as ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted.
Ohio St. WR Chris Olave is visiting the Eagles today.

Schefter revealed that Ohio State’s Chris Olave would be visiting Philadelphia.
The 21-year-old prospect from California is a two-time First-Team All-Big Ten member.
He had 936 yards and 13 touchdowns in his final year with the Buckeyes.
Is Olave Still Available When It’s The Eagles’ Turn To Draft?
Luckily, given the deep talent pool, the 2022 NFL Draft is a fantastic opportunity to draft a wide receiver.
However, the Eagles might not be the only team interested in Olave.
The New York Jets might select a wide receiver at pick number four.
The Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens might also consider getting a wideout at No. 13 and No. 14, respectively.
Therefore, there’s a possibility that Olave might go to one of these teams before pick No. 15.
However, the Eagles also have the 18th pick in round one.
Will they use that selection to trade up if they learn that another team could select Olave earlier?
This possibility must be in general manager Howie Roseman’s mind until draft day comes.
