The postseason is in full swing.
Yesterday, we got to a see a moment for the ages in Game 1 of the ALDS between the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners when Yordan Alvarez took Robbie Ray deep to give Houston a walk-off win over their AL West rivals.
The Astros now sit just two wins away from their sixth consecutive ALCS appearance.
After the game, Astros manager Dusty Baker commented on the atmosphere of postseason baseball and touched upon Alvarez’s walk-off homer.
Baker also went on to say that if you aren’t a baseball fan by now after seeing what Alvarez did, things are about to get even more exciting.
"if you're not a baseball fan, after seeing that, there's a good chance you're tuning in Thursday"

Postseason Magic
This is what postseason baseball is all about.
It’s all about excitement, drama, and clutch performances.
Baker has certainly been around long enough to be able to attest to that.
Baker has been at the helm for several great teams that went on to make deep runs into the month of October, dating all the way back to the 2002 San Francisco Giants.
Now, at the helm of the Astros, he has a team that could very well be the last ones standing when this is all said and done.
Winning Game 1 was certainly a good start for Baker’s Astros.
But there’s always something to be said for how magical postseason baseball can truly be.
Alvarez’s home run is a perfect example of that.
Truly magical moments can take place in the month of October.
Teams are pulling out all the stops to try and ensure that they’ll be the ones celebrating at the end of the World Series.
More magical moments surely await us as we move into the second day of Division Series action.
