The Golden State Warriors were the ruling force in the NBA last decade.
That’s no longer the case, but they’ve proven over and over that they cannot be overlooked when they’re at full strength.
Even despite several in-season struggles, the Warriors still managed to make it to the second round of the playoffs last season.
With that in mind, now that they’ve added Chris Paul, are all healthy, and have some depth and good defenders on their roster, former Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green is still confident in their ability to win at least another two championships together (via NBACentral).

The Warriors doubled down on their commitment to their championship core this offseason.
They decided to move on from Jordan Poole so they could have enough money to extend Draymond Green.
And while not many teams would have made that call, it’s safe to say that their championship core has earned the benefit of the doubt and this kind of commitment.
Just two years ago, no one thought the Warriors could ever go back to the NBA Finals, let alone win a ring.
They proved the doubters wrong by taking down the up-and-coming Boston Celtics on the biggest stage, proving again that the dynasty was far from done.
Now, they enter the upcoming season as the hunters, not the hunted, and that’s their preferred position.
They may no longer be the ultimate powerhouse in the Western Conference, but betting against them has never been a smart wager.
