The Golden State Warriors became the team to beat in the NBA for the past eight years or so.
When healthy, the dynasty proved to be the ruling force in the Western Conference, making it to six Finals in eight years and winning four NBA championships.
Needless to say, Draymond Green had plenty to do with those rings.
His basketball IQ, playmaking, screen-setting, and elite defense were huge for Steve Kerr’s team’s success, even if his scoring numbers are far from impressive.
But as great as he’s been, it seems like Green has a slightly better opinion of his career than most people.
He was roasted online for recently stating that LeBron James was the only guy in the All-Star Game whose résumé could stack up to his, as they both have four NBA championships.

That might be true, technically, but comparing his résumé to LeBron’s is a bit of a stretch, to say the least.
Of course, there’s no denying that Green should be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame once it’s all said and done, even if he doesn’t average 10 points per game.
But we’re talking about perhaps the most accomplished basketball player of all time, so with all due respect to one of the best defenders of his time, there are levels to this.
There’s also a chance that Draymond just wanted to remind everyone that LeBron has won four championships as he continues his crusade to make James’ GOAT case every single time he’s mic’d up.
