Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors let his feelings truly be known on Tuesday night following a 106-101 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Green was public enemy number one going into the game, just days after receiving an ejection in Game 1 for fouling Brandon Clarke.
Fans of the Grizzlies were none too happy to see Green and they started booing him immediately.
Green gave it right back to them and started to flip the crowd off.
And he has no regrets about that.
“It felt really good to flip [the Grizzlies’ fans] off…I’m assuming the cheers was because they know I’ll get fined, great…I make $25M per year I should be just fine.”

“It felt really good to flip [the Grizzlies’ fans] off,” Green said following the game.
He followed that up with “I’m assuming the cheers was because they know I’ll get fined, great. I make $25 million per year, I should be just fine.”
That’s some harsh truth coming from Green.
Mutual Dislike
The Memphis fans don’t like Green and he certainly doesn’t like them either.
He was first booed during starting introductions on Tuesday night, which was a sign of what was to come.
At every opportunity, fans of the Grizzlies let him hear their disdain again and again.
When Green left for the locker room following an elbow to the face, the crowd went wild and cheered his departure.
That’s when he started to let the middle finger fly.
He later told Commerical Appeal, “You’re going to boo somebody who get elbowed in the eye and face running down blood, you should get flipped off. I’ll take the fine. I’ll go do an appearance and make up the money.”
Green has never been one to hide his feelings about anything, including fellow players, teams, and their crowds.
Fans of the Warriors love his brash personality – but they love his impressive basketball skills even more.
