The Golden State Warriors had a huge game on Sunday night, winning 107-88 and tying the series 1-1.
It was a much-needed win for the former champs and a sign that these Finals are probably going to be long – and enjoyable.
A big part of the Warriors’ win was Stephen Curry, who lit up for 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The importance of Curry is no surprise to most people – especially Draymond Green of Golden State.
Warriors' Draymond Green after Finals Game 2 win over Celtics: "It all starts with Steph. When KD was here, our offense still started with Steph."

Following the game, Green spoke about Curry’s impact on the game.
“It all starts with Steph,” Green said.
“When KD was here, our offense still started with Steph.”
It’s not shocking to hear that the team considers Curry the most important part of the team’s line-up.
What is a tad surprising is that Curry is playing just as he did years ago.
This guy is not aging, at least when it comes to the playoffs.
Curry Cooking
Curry is a Finals machine – there is something about playing in the biggest series of the year that takes him to a whole other level.
His career averages are 24.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.
Yet, his playoff averages are 26.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists.
This has led to three rings for the sharpshooter and a legacy as someone who really does know his way around the playoffs.
The Warriors have more players than just Curry but there is no doubt that when he’s doing better, the team really benefits and sometimes becomes unstoppable.
It remains to be seen how he plays for the rest of these Finals but if he has a few more games like Game 2 on Sunday night, there is a good chance that he will add yet another ring to his wardrobe.
