The Miami Heat face another big challenge in Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals.
The Eastern Conference champions lost the series opener to the Denver Nuggets by double digits, and now will try to bounce back and tie the series.
Draymond Green is one of the most knowledgeable players in the league, and he detailed what changes the Heat should make to beat the Nuggets tonight.
“They also got a lot of open looks out of ball screens and that’s when the threes started falling”

Green explains that the Heat will need to use more ball screens, as this formula helped them during Game 1.
They had some open looks because of those screens and that is when shots started falling. Green says this should be the way Miami approaches Game 2.
Denver has length, and challenging them in the paint isn’t wise for Miami.
Miami still has good shooters, and many expect them to be more accurate during this game.
Michael Malone already warned his Nuggets about letting Heat players get open, as they took 16 open shots in the series opener.
This is a real challenge for the Heat, but a win tonight could make a big impact on the rest of the series.
The Heat want to go back home with one win, and Denver will try to assert it’s dominance again to take a 2-0 lead.
