The last week has been very good for Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell.
After months of rumor and assumption, Mitchell was finally traded from the Utah Jazz to the Cavs in one of the biggest moves of the NBA offseason.
This trade sent a huge ripple through the entire league and radically changed the future of Cleveland and the entire Eastern Conference.
Mitchell seemed elated to be traded to a team that has a good chance at postseason greatness.

There is another reason for Mitchell to be happy: he is celebrating his birthday.
Mitchell turned 26 today.
This means that he’s a skillful, young man who has many years in the NBA ahead of him.
Spida Celebrates
In the 2021-22 season, Mitchell put up 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
He is one of the best guards in the league and the Cavaliers are extremely lucky to have him.
One of the best things about Mitchell aside from his output on the floor is the fact that he doesn’t get hurt too often.
During his five seasons in the league, he has remained relatively healthy and hasn’t missed too many games.
He will be a central part of the Cavaliers moving forward.
The team now has one of the best backcourt duos in the league with Mitchell and Darius Garland; these two could make serious magic together.
And since he’s just 26, Mitchell has a chance to be in the NBA for many more years if he remains as healthy as he has been.
Mitchell has long been one of the most outstanding guards in the NBA but now that he’s with the Cavaliers, this young man might become even better.
