The Miami Dolphins were a mess only two months ago.
The team got off to a 1-7 start and was riding a seven-game losing streak.
Everything has since changed as the Dolphins are now 8-7 after a win Monday night over the New Orleans Saints.
Sure, Ian Book lined up under center for the Saints and stood no chance.
But a win is a win in the NFL and it bumped the Dolphins up into the seventh spot in the AFC playoff picture.
The win also made NFL history as the Dolphins built their win streak to seven games.

The Dolphins are now the first team in NFL history have a seven-game win streak after losing seven in a row.
That is quite the streak after their 1-7 start and speaks to how strong this team is under Brian Flores.
The Historic Streak
Defense has been the key for Miami over the past seven games.
They have held opponents to 17 points or fewer in all but one game and just held the Saints to three points.
Detractors will point out teams they have beaten during this streak.
The Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Saints, and the New York Jets (twice) are not exactly the NFL’s most difficult teams.
But the Dolphins were 1-7 at one point and faced a must-win every week.
FINS FOR THE WIN‼️

That is not easy to do in the NFL and it is amazing they have not slipped up once after such a bad start to the season.
Winning solves everything and Miami has a new sense of direction at 8-7.
Two difficult games remain against top AFC foes in the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots.
If the Dolphins can win both, talks of change will fade away again as Miami will be in the postseason for the first time since 2016.
