After a game that came down to the wire with a backup quarterback, the Miami Dolphins ultimately lost to the Buffalo Bills this weekend, 34-31.
With a loss like this, many NFL pundits and Dolphins fans alike have pointed to the quarterback position, wondering if they would have won this game if Tua Tagovailoa was under center.
Tagovailoa’s camp has been relatively silent since his injury, but it appears that, as of yesterday afternoon, there is a recent development for Tagovailoa, and what we know about him moving forward.
Grier says based on what their doctors have told him, Tua is not any more susceptible to concussions moving forward than any other player

Although many have speculated that Tagovailoa will never play another snap in the NFL due to his propensity to getting concussions, recent reporting says otherwise.
The above is certainly not a definitive statement, it looks like Tagovailoa could play in 2023 and beyond, and that his neurological function is not in serious jeopardy.
When he was on the field this season, Tagovailoa looked like he was making marked improvements from the year prior, especially his arm talent.
Tagovailoa’s absence on Sunday meant that the Dolphins had to start rookie Skylar Thompson against the Bills.
While Thompson’s play didn’t exactly lose the game for the Dolphins, it’s not difficult to imagine what this game could have been like if Tagovailoa had played.
Regardless, the Dolphins move into 2023 with a bit more hope than they have had in weeks prior given this news of Tagovailoa.
With any luck, Tagovailoa will not suffer any more setbacks and will be able to play up to his usual standards next season.
