The Miami Dolphins may be in trouble, at least concerning their quarterback position.
Currently, their franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is still in concussion protocol, and his status for this season is currently in question.
Mike McDaniel says the QB decision will come down to Skylar Thompson and Teddy Bridgewater in Week 18.

If the season were to end today, the Dolphins would not be in the playoffs.
To have any sort of chance to make the playoffs, they will need to beat the New York Jets on Sunday and will need a bit of help from a divisional rival as well.
At this point, the Dolphins will need a win, paired with a New England Patriots loss.
The Patriots are scheduled to play the Buffalo Bills this week, who have won their last six games.
Simply put, the Dolphins’ odds of making the playoffs aren’t spectacular, especially considering they have lost their lost five games, and will be without their star quarterback yet again this week.
Who is their best option to start this week to give them the best chance of success?
Skylar Thompson was drafted in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft and has only appeared in six games this season.
In those six games, Thompson has posted a stat line of 40-74 for 382 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.
On the other hand, Teddy Bridgewater is a nine-year NFL veteran and has started two games for the Dolphins this season.
Bridgewater gives the Dolphins the best chance to succeed this week and is who they should roll-out as a starter.
With Bridgewater at the helm, the Dolphins may have a chance to hold on and make the playoffs.
