The Los Angeles Dodgers recently called up right-hander Bobby Miller from Triple-A and slotted him into their starting rotation.
On Tuesday, he made his Major League debut against the star-studded Atlanta Braves, who came into the game with the National League’s best record.
Miller drew the start against the Braves and had an MLB debut to remember.
The Dodgers’ top pitching prospect pitched five innings and only allowed one run against a powerful Braves lineup.
Miller also struck out five batters while allowing just four hits and one walk.

Miller certainly had everything working on Tuesday night as he dominated the Braves over five innings.
He earned his first career win in the process and helped the Dodgers take over the top spot in the National League as they improved to 31-19 on the year.
But he managed to strike out Matt Olson twice on Tuesday as he guided the Dodgers to an important win.
By the end of the night, the young right-hander had an ERA of 1.80.
J.D. Martinez hit a three-run homer and Will Smith picked up three hits and drove in three runs to back up Miller’s strong start.
Former Braves star Jason Heyward also picked up two hits, including a home run.
But the story of the game was Miller and his dominant Major League debut as he was able to subdue a powerful Braves lineup and help secure an important series win over Atlanta.
