The Washington Wizards are back in the playoffs for the first time in a couple years.
They might be finally back on the rise.
Their biggest prized possession is Bradley Beal.
Beal is a three time All-Star, who is only 27 years old.
He still has a lot of great basketball left to be played.
Any team would love to build around someone of his caliber.
However, this era of the NBA is all about movement.
If situations are ineffective and on the downside, then players are expected to want to leave.
This is where Beal comes into play.
He is the star of this franchise, but it has not led to team success.
Bringing in Russell Westbrook was a great way to begin an upward trajectory with the organization.
Can it be too late?
We have speculated for a few years now of Beal wanting, or deserving, a trade elsewhere.
Do the Wizards owe him a trade out of Washington?
Yes, He Deserves Better
Beal is one of the best scores in the league today.
For the last two seasons, he has averaged more than 30 points per game.
He is elite on the offensive end.
Unfortunately, that talent is somewhat wasted on the Wizards.
The Wizards are a very inconsistent team.
They are the eighth seed and are on the verge of losing in the first round.
Teams have been lined up for his services for awhile now.
The Miami Heat’s interest level in Bradley Beal is 'high,' per @flasportsbuzz

Beal deserves to be a star on a perennial contender.
This man is in his absolute prime, but cannot make it to the playoffs or the second round with this franchise.
Furthermore, the Wizards might need to start fresh and go through a full rebuild.
It might be time to start anew for a franchise with no title hopes in the near future.
No, If He Wants to Stay, He Stays
The Wizards have come out and said they do not want to trade their franchise guy.
So the only way Beal goes is if he demands a trade.
That is the problem with a Beal trade; he doesn’t want one.
He and his agent have come out to say that he wants to stay in Washington.
Everyone can put the trade rumors to rest as Bradley Beal looks to finish what he started with the Wizards 👏 pic.twitter.com/u3sibbBech

To most NBA fans, they believe he needs a trade and should demand it immediately.
However, Beal is happy and wants to be loyal to the organization.
Beal does deserve better, but the Wizards have tried.
This past offseason they traded John Wall for the former MVP in Westbrook.
They are not afraid to shake things up for the guy.
He has love for the city and fans.
In today’s era, that is somewhat unheard of.
Beal does not need to follow the status quo.
He does not have to demand a trade because of struggles within the team.
Maybe he wants to gut it out with an organization that has his back to the fullest.
Washington should not trade a player who wants to be there for the future.
