The rains poured hard during the Week 4 game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Despite the challenge presented by the weather, the Eagles remained undefeated by defeating the visiting team, 29-21.
Still, wide receiver DeVonta Smith had a lot of things to say about the conditions.
NFL Films caught soundbites from him, and all he can say is, “Bro y’all don’t understand how cold it was.”

At first, Smith used a towel to shield himself from the rain while saying, “I’mma put this on my head. I don’t want to get sick now.”
He also struggled to catch the slippery ball during warmups.
Smith also declared that he was “cold as hell,” and his hands froze.
The former Alabama standout hurriedly went to the locker room after the game.
He finished the game with three receptions for 17 yards.
It’s not the best of his performances this season because he already had two impressive games.
In Week 2, he made seven receptions for 80 yards against the Minnesota Vikings.
A week later, he had eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown versus the Washington Commanders.
Smith has 18 receptions for 266 yards and a touchdown through four games.
Eagles Passing Game Is Cruising
Smith is a huge reason why the Eagles have the sixth-best passing offense, averaging 270.3 yards per game.
A.J. Brown leads their receiving corps with 404 yards, while tight end Dallas Goedert has 240.
But despite the yards they gain from the air, the Eagles are tied for third-worst in receiving touchdowns with four.
They are also tied for ninth-worst in the league with 82 receptions.
Smith and the Eagles will try to extend their undefeated record with a win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
