The Phoenix Suns defeated the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, beating that surprisingly good team in a 122-117 victory in Sac-Town.
It was a well-earned win and helped the Suns secure a 14-6 record.
They are still the top team in the West, slightly ahead of the Denver Nuggets with their 13-7.
The usual suspects were posting big totals on the floor for the Suns, including Deandre Ayton (17 points and 12 rebounds), Mikal Bridges (13 points and 8 rebounds), and Damion Lee (15 points).
But it was once again Devin Booker who did the most for Phoenix.

He posted 44 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals in the big win against the Kings.
He was 17-of-28 from the field and sank all 9 of his free throws.
What a night for Booker, who is having a terrific, MVP-caliber season.
Booker’s Business
Booker’s career average is 23.7 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.
But this season, he’s putting up 27.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists.
Booker has always been a great scorer, one of the best guards in the league, but his responsibilities have increased this season.
That is because the Suns have been without Chris Paul for a considerable amount of time.
Paul has been out of rotation since the start of November but the Suns have been able to keep playing well, mostly because Booker has stepped up in terms of scoring and leading his squad.
This is something that fans have been requesting from Booker for years, they know he’s a wonderful player but they also want him to work on his leadership skills too.
He seems to be doing just that.
If the Suns can continue to succeed without Paul, their chances of sailing to the postseason will only grow.
