The Phoenix Suns had their second game of the Kevin Durant era on Friday night and it was a resounding success.
They took down the Chicago Bulls 125-104, meaning that both games with Durant so far have resulted in easy wins for the team.
For his part, Durant posted 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.
But he wasn’t the team leader for the Suns.

Devin Booker took that honor with his 35 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.
During his first two games alongside Durant, Booker has averaged 36 points and 6.5 assists on a 54% field goal percentage and 53% from the three-point line.
He obviously feels quite comfortable playing with one of the best basketball stars in the world and that has Suns fans very excited.
The fact that Booker is scoring more than Durant says a lot about how confident he is feeling right now.
He works best when he has a strong team around him and there are few players stronger than Durant.
Along with Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, and others, Booker has a whole crew to rely on.
Of everyone on the Suns’ team right now, Booker is thought of as the future of the franchise.
When Durant, Paul, and everyone else retires, this team will most likely be Booker’s.
He seems ready to take on that responsibility and is also ready to help his team go further than they ever have.
They have gotten off to a great start with Durant on board and Booker is taking this as an opportunity to shine even brighter.
