Ime Udoka of the Boston Celtics is currently out of a job.
The head coach of the team has officially been suspended for all of the 2022-23 season after it was revealed that he had an intimate relationship with a female staffer.
It was a harsh ruling from the Celtics but as more and more information about the situation comes to light, it feels appropriate.
Ime Udoka allegedly made unwanted comments toward a female staffer which prompted an internal investigation.

Shams Charania is reporting that Udoka allegedly made “unwanted comments” towards a Celtics female staffer.
It was those comments that prompted the investigation into Udoka.
There were multiple Boston staffers who were aware of the relationship in July but, according to Charania, they “thought it was consensual.”
The wording of this report suggests that perhaps another shoe is about to drop in the Udoka situation.
The Celtics Scandal
Udoka might not ever come back to coach the team but he will definitely not return until after the 2022-23 season concludes.
If more reporting like this comes out about Udoka and the relationship he had, it becomes likely that he will be fired.
As we learn more, the situation looks worse and worse and it puts Udoka in a very bad light.
If this keeps up, the Celtics will have no choice but to cut ties with him completely.
They have left the door open for that option: in their official press release, the team said that they would decide on the coach’s future later this year.
We now know a lot more about Udoka and his actions than we did on Wednesday when the news broke.
Yet, it still feels like more information is on the way – and it might be pretty bad.
