Last season, it looked like the Houston Texans would trade Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins despite his legal issues.
A year later, the Dolphins pulled from their intention to deal for the Pro Bowl quarterback and will stick with Tua Tagovailoa, Teddy Bridgewater, and Jacoby Brissett under center.
However, the Watson sweepstakes are in full swing as he gains interest from other teams.
Therefore, he will have several meetings in the coming days, as ESPN NFL Nation reporter for the Carolina Panthers David Newton revealed.
Deshaun Watson meeting with Falcons today. Already has met with Panthers, Saints & Browns. New NFL year starts today at 4 p.m. Clubs interested want to get this resolved so they can get on with building the rest of their club. Ultimately, Watson's call because of no-trade clause.

Newton tweeted, “Deshaun Watson meeting with Falcons today. Already has met with Panthers, Saints & Browns. New NFL year starts today at 4 p.m. Clubs interested want to get this resolved so they can get on with building the rest of their club. Ultimately, Watson’s call because of no-trade clause.”
The last sentence in Newton’s tweet is important because Watson controls his destiny.
He will only waive his no-trade clause for a team that gives him the best chance of winning.
Another team might have a better trade package for him, but that won’t matter unless Watson decides to join them.
As always, the four teams involved would like an answer soon to move forward with their plans.
Which Team Has The Best Chance Of Landing Watson?
Of the four teams involved, the Saints and the Browns have the greatest odds of getting the 2020 passing yards leader.
Cleveland acquired Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys to play with their punishing backfield of Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb.
They’ve also assigned the franchise tag to tight end David Njoku.
Having Watson will make a huge difference to their passing attack.
Likewise, the Saints have Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas in the midst.
Those players alone might entice Watson to play in The Big Easy.
