Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is an unstoppable force that takes more than one man to tackle.
He is the heart and soul of the team’s offense and for good reason.
To highlight his excellence, the former Alabama standout still had 937 rushing yards even if he only played eight regular-season games last season.
It took some games before another running back overtook him in rushing yards, meaning that he would have dominated the competition if he did not suffer a foot injury.
The Titans brought him back during their Divisional Round game against the Cincinnati Bengals but he came out flat-footed.
While 62 yards and a touchdown during that game is nothing to be sneered at, it’s nowhere near his full capability.
For that reason, Henry will be back with a vengeance in 2022 and he will continue to break tackles to gain yards and touchdowns.
That scenario makes him an early favorite for one of the NFL’s individual honors.

FOX Bet reveals that Henry has the best odds (+300) to win Comeback Player of the Year.
New Orleans Saints teammates Jameis Winston and Michael Thomas are second and third, respectively.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is at the fourth spot while Christian McCaffrey ranks fifth.
Completing the list are J.K. Dobbins, Mitchell Trubisky, Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota, and Chris Godwin.
King Henry Returns To His Throne
If not for that injury, Henry was on pace to have another 2,000-yard rushing season.
Doing so would have made him the first running back in NFL history to have multiple seasons in that regard.
But come 2022, he’s more locked in to help the Titans reach the Super Bowl.
He came up short last season and he will own up to it.
Therefore, opposing tacklers better say their prayers when facing this beast.
