This statement was issued by the team’s head coach, and the general manager as well.
While Carr seemed to be well-liked by fans, and members of the organization, his time with the team is up.
Now, Carr is on the hunt for a new team, hungry to achieve an ever-so-elusive playoff win.
In his nine seasons with the Raiders, he had an overall record of 63-79, with just one playoff appearance, which they ended up losing.
What team presents the best situation for Carr?
The New Orleans Saints are one of the teams that he has been linked to.
The Saints are an interesting destination, as they are a team that is in rebuilding mode, which has been the case since Drew Brees retired.
Chris Olave was one of the best rookie wide receivers last season and is looking for a new quarterback to help build his career.
Another potential destination is the Indianapolis Colts, although, they are more likely to draft a rookie quarterback in this year’s draft.
Wherever he ends up, Carr’s nine years of NFL experience will be invaluable to any organization, should they choose to build their team around him.
