The Las Vegas Raiders won’t have it easy this season.
They will be competing in arguably the toughest division in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos.
The Chiefs remain dangerous despite not having Tyrann Mathieu and Tyreek Hill anymore.
After all, they still have Patrick Mahomes who can make something out of nothing.
Likewise, the Broncos brought in Russell Wilson to navigate their talented offensive unit.
The Chargers also made key additions on defense to help their high-powered offense.
However, the Raiders also made a significant acquisition in All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.
After spending eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Adams was traded to the Raiders for Las Vegas’ first and second-round picks in the 2022 draft.
Then, he signed a five-year, $141.25 million contract which made him the highest-paid wideout at that time.
Adams won’t be starting from scratch in Las Vegas because he will reunite with quarterback Derek Carr who was his college football teammate at Fresno State.
Given the bond they have, it’s no surprise that Carr is excited to see Adams wear the iconic Raiders uniform for the first time.

These two players must rekindle their connection to bring the Raiders to another postseason berth.
Raiders Receiving Crew Looks Scary
Adams will be Carr’s primary target as he tries to stretch the field and complete big gains.
However, he’s not the only bright spot because Hunter Renfrow had a breakout 2021 season.
Tight end Darren Waller will also benefit from head coach Josh McDaniels’ two-tight end sets.
Indeed, the Raiders have come a long way after losing Henry Ruggs III and Zay Jones.
For that reason, Raiders fans can’t help but be optimistic for their upcoming campaign because Adams is a game-changer.
