DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls just had one heck of a season.
The five-time All-Star put up 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.
When you compare that to his career average (20.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists) you see a player who is reaching new heights and only getting better after years in the league.
Fresh off making All-NBA second team, Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan is signing a new four-year deal with Nike that keeps him as the featured face of Kobe Bryant’s iconic line, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Because of his hard work and incredible talent, DeRozan not only has his team near championship levels, but he also has a huge deal with Nike.
DeRozan is signing a new four-year deal with Nike that will keep him as the face of Kobe Bryant‘s line.
This means a lot to DeRozan and not just because it will be paying him millions.
DeRozan Doing Deals
DeRozan has been wearing Bryant’s signature line for years and that’s not surprising when you think about how much the Black Mamba meant to him.
Just two weeks ago, DeRozan was rocking a pair of Kobe 6s while playing in the Drew League alongside LeBron James.
DeRozan has repeatedly said that Bryant was one of the most profound inspirations for him as a young man and is someone he still looks up to.
He is regularly seen playing in a pair of Kobes and that will not change any time soon.
The initial deal between the estate of Bryant and Nike expired in 2021 but the two sides recently reached a new long-term contract that will keep them in business together for many years to come.
Kobes are a supremely popular line for Nike and there are many NBA stars who wear them during games.
But it will be DeRozan as the face of the line for the next few years.
