DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls is having the sort of season that NBA players can only ever dream of.
Some people are comparing DeRozan’s current run to prime-time Michael Jordan.
Honestly, it’s hard to argue against that.
When you look at DeRozan’s recent scores, you see that he is producing the sort of numbers that only come around once in a lifetime.

Over the last eight games, DeRozan has never scored fewer than 35 points and never had a field-goal shooting percentage lower than 50 percent.
There are few people playing like DeRozan right now and it’s becoming obvious that he’s simply not slowing down.
Bulls On Parade
The Bulls are one of the most competitive teams in the NBA right now.
They are the number one seed in the East, are certainly going into the postseason, and have a legitimate chance to make the NBA Finals for the first time in decades.
And everyone can agree that it’s in large part due to the DeRozan and the season he is having.
This is DeRozan’s revenge season because it comes after years of people writing him off.
He did fantastic work for the Toronto Raptors but was undervalued by that team, eventually traded to the San Antonio Spurs.
Most people didn’t give him a second glance when he was playing in Texas, thinking his brightest days were behind him.
Even the Lakers didn’t think highly of DeRozan, deciding to pass on him during trade talks – even though DeRozan wanted to head to LA.
Because of all this, DeRozan is playing like a man with something to prove.
And he’s proving it – again and again every night.
DeRozan has been on a high all season – but it’s possible he gets even higher in the weeks ahead.
