The season is over for DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls.
After a year filled with many ups and many downs, the Bulls were eliminated from the playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Getting pushed out of the first round wasn’t how the Bulls expected their season to end but a series of injuries along with a tough competitor was too much to overcome.
But there are bright spots from the season – including DeRozan’s incredible playing.
DeRozan put up 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists a game.
For a while, he was looking like he could win the MVP trophy.
DeRozan was very happy with his first season in Chicago and sounds very excited for what will come next.
DeMar DeRozan on his first season in Chicago: "Perfect. Couldn't have went a better way. It's been a great year to say the least. Just being around the front office, teammates, city. Everything has been something more than I could've imagined."

Here’s what he said, as shared by K.C. Johnson, when asked about his time playing with the Bulls: “Perfect. Couldn’t have went a better way. It’s been a great year to say the least. Just being around the front office, teammates, city.”
He added: “Everything has been something more than I could’ve imagined.”
So what’s next for DeRozan and his Bulls?
Windy City Greatness
What does the future hold for this team and its lead star?
Make no mistake: the Bulls still have the potential to win it all.
In fact, they could come back better and stronger next season without changing the lineup they currently have.
The biggest thing working against the team this year was injuries.
Even now, three of the team’s biggest stars are out with injuries.
If the team can remain in one piece, they could be very strong and they could make a substantial playoff run.
If DeRozan makes his second season with Chicago like his first, the team will be a huge threat yet again.
And if they stay healthy, they could be unstoppable.
