The NFL community — and the sports community as a whole — have come together to keep legend Deion Sanders in their prayers.
The former NFL and MLB star has been dealing with some serious health-related issues, with some even fearing he could have his entire foot amputated.
Sanders has already lost a couple of toes because of issues with blood clots, and he had to have emergency surgery not so long ago.
Fortunately, his girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, recently took to Instagram to reveal that the former player has been recovering as planned and scheduled, thanking everybody for keeping him in their prayers, according to a report by NFL insider Dov Kleiman.

Sanders is one of the most beloved and respected figures around the football scene.
He had been all over the news lately for his incredible stint coaching HBCU Jackson State, a tenure that got him a bigger job with the Colorado Buffaloes.
Some fans of the program have been worried about how Sanders’ health condition could affect his ability to fulfill his contract obligations with the Buffaloes, especially considering he missed some games in the past because of that.
Even so, the program’s officials were well aware of Sanders’ health situation, as it was never a secret.
Also, health should always come first and foremost, and that should be the last thing on his mind while he continues his recovery.
Hopefully, this will be the last we hear of this, and coach Prime will be back on the field sooner rather than later.
