The San Francisco 49ers‘ march towards what they hope will be a sixth Super Bowl championship continues on Sunday when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.
When wide receiver Deebo Samuel commented on playing such a huge game in Philly, he didn’t throw shade at Eagles fans, but he did manage to praise the Niners Faithful.

There is no doubt that the 49ers have a huge legion of fans across the nation, from places such as Southern California, a region that normally roots against Bay Area teams, to the Northeast and even the deep South.
But Philly sports fans are perhaps the roughest and meanest in the nation, and they have become infamous for numerous incidents over the decades.
In fact, Veterans Stadium, the former home of the Eagles, even had a jail, courtroom and judge inside of it in order to deal with their vicious fans.
Another factor the Niners will have to deal with is the weather, which is much rougher at this time of the year in the Delaware Valley than it is in coastal California.
Although the weather forecast calls for relatively tame weather on Sunday (by Philly standards), it should be considerably cooler than it will be in the Bay Area.
The Eagles have a very potent offense, both on the ground and in the air, but the one weakness they may have is defending the run, and the 49ers have the right personnel to expose that weakness.
Samuel could play a role in doing so, as he sometimes likes to line up in the backfield and carry the ball to the outside while looking to break tackles and receive strong blocking from the team’s other wideouts.
