The Los Angeles Dodgers are one of MLB’s elite teams.
They have a top-two payroll nearing $290 million, and they remain committed to winning the World Series every year.
Speaking on the Dan Patrick Show, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts showed he has confidence in his players’ abilities.
He said that the Dodgers are going to win the 2022 World Series.
“Put it on the record,” he went on to say.

Far from being disrespectful, what Roberts did is a perfect confidence injection to the Dodgers’ players, and a way for them to understand what’s at stake.
Fans expect them to lift the trophy, and the organization has put every possible asset and resource at their disposal.
It will be up to the players, and Roberts himself, to deliver on that promise.
The National League Will Be Tough, But The Dodgers Have What It Takes To Win
Last year, the Dodgers had an amazing regular season with 106 wins, but fell short in the National League Championship Series after falling to the World Series champions, the Atlanta Braves.
They are eager to get their revenge in 2022, on the field, of course.
The National League will have several powerhouses and some good, solid teams that could become obstacles in the way.
The Braves, the San Francisco Giants, and the New York Mets are, at least on paper, the Dodgers’ biggest foes on their way to the championship.
However, the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals may also be dangerous.
The San Diego Padres will need to get Fernando Tatis Jr. back soon to be considered real threats.
In any case, the Dodgers added Freddie Freeman and Andrew Heaney to the lineup and rotation, respectively, and have perhaps MLB’s best offensive core with Trea Turner, Will Smith, Chris Taylor, Gavin Lux, Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, AJ Pollock, and Mookie Betts.
They also welcomed back Clayton Kershaw and have a good rotation and bullpen.
They are equipped to deliver on Robert’s promise.
