The Los Angeles Dodgers are stacked heading into 2022 and they look ready to reach their fourth World Series in the past six years.
The addition of Freddie Freeman proved their desire to get back on the field and win another title.
That lineup already consisted of Trea and Justin Turner, Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts, and Will Smith.
Adding Freeman gives them the best lineup in perhaps all of baseball.
Manager Dave Roberts is confident heading into the new season and as Opening Day draws nearer, Roberts has a prediction for what his team will accomplish, stating that a World Series title is the goal.
Dave Roberts told @dpshow the #Dodgers are winning the World Series this season.
"Put it on record. That's our focus. That's our goal."

Hungry For More
This is a bold prediction, but certainly not foolish.
Roberts has won it all before and he’s prepared to do it again with much of the same cast of characters, but this time, he has Freeman on board.
He’ll also have a rotation that consists of Walker Buehler, Julio Urias, Clayton Kershaw, and Tyler Anderson and a stout bullpen.
Roberts is hungry for more in 2022.
The Dodgers were crowned World Series champions in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, but were unable to do it at home, given that the postseason was in a bubble in Texas that year.
But now, the Dodgers have another chance to do it with fans in the stands and in Los Angeles.
Roberts is ready to go and has no problem predicting that great things will happen for his club in 2022.
And why wouldn’t he be confident?
This is one of the better teams he’s had during his time as manager of the Dodgers.
None of this is new to him.
He believes in his guys and is poised to win.
