With one more 100-yard receiving game, he will pass three different Raiders receivers who are currently tied for the team record.
These receivers are Art Powell, Warren Wells, and Tim Brown.
Brown was the most recent to achieve this feat, which happened in 1997.
Adams’ Rise To Historical Significance
Adams began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, where he spent the first seven years of his career.
In the 2022 NFL offseason, Adams decided to take his talents to Las Vegas, where he could reunite with his former college quarterback, Derek Carr.
Although they started off to a bit of a rocky start together, Adams has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in four of their last five games.
Adams has been frequently touted as one of, if not the best receivers in the NFL.
In his career, Adams has 9,297 total receiving yards and 85 touchdowns.
He was already cemented in Packers history before being traded.
Adams is a two-time All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowler.
Will he be able to have sustained success with Carr, similar to how he did with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay?
Carr, Adams, and the rest of the Raiders haven’t quite been able to string along as many wins as initially expected.
However, after one season together, the Raiders should be able to pull together more victories in 2023.
