Danilo Gallinari Keeps Hyping Up His New Team

The Boston Celtics haven’t made a lot of huge moves during this offseason – at least not yet.

But what they have done could end up making a huge difference for the team.

Not only did the team land Malcolm Brogdon, previously of the Indiana Pacers, they also inked a deal with Danilo Gallinari.

And the accomplished veteran player seems very ready to suit up in green and play hard.

The easiest choice. ☘️

Gallinari hopped on Twitter to celebrate his signing with the Celtics.

“The easiest choice,” Gallinari said.

He continued: “It has been a special day for me and a big result for my career. Now it’s time to make this new season special as well.”

Is Gallinari the missing piece the team needs to improve on their wildly successful previous season?

New Addition

Gallinari has held the Celtics in high regard all his life.

When he was growing up in Italy, he idolized Larry Bird and would watch tapes of him play all of the time, even years later when he got drafted by the New York Knicks.

To play on the same team that Bird led for so long is very special for Gallinari.

Gallinari is focused on making Boston’s devoted fanbase proud.

Obviously, the team has been doing quite well lately and they made it all the way to the NBA Finals last season.

They were very close to winning it all but they just came up short.

While Gallinari hasn’t won a Finals of his own, he came close to reaching them when playing for the Atlanta Hawks.

His experience and hard-working demeanor could really come in handy in the season ahead.

He will only improve an already-terrific team.
