The press has been talking about D’Angelo Russell of the Minnesota Timberwolves a lot lately.
Rumors around swirling that Russell might want to leave the team, especially since he recently unfollowed the T-Wolves on Instagram.
In this modern age, unfollowing your team on social media is almost always a sign of trouble in paradise.
You can’t blame Russell if he is truly upset with how the team is performing, they are not at the place they need to be.

Yet, Russell keeps showing up and is usually playing well.
On Wednesday night, he only scored 9 points (although his 7 assists were impressive) in the team’s win against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Some people wondered why he didn’t put up more points and a local news reporter might shed some light on that.
Twitter user Reed Benjamin posted footage from a Minnesota news show, which showed that Russell actually crashed his truck earlier in the day due to snowy weather conditions.
A tow truck company was called to remove the truck from the snowbanks and they noted that the front of the vehicle had been smashed and both airbags had been deployed.
And you thought your work day was bad!
Despite the accident, Russell still showed up at the arena just hours later to play.
This is the first known mention of the accident so it’s clear that it wasn’t even on Russell’s radar – he was more focused on winning.
That winning spirit has been a part of Russell’s game since he joined the league with the Los Angeles Lakers years ago.
Things haven’t been going swimmingly for the Timberwolves lately but Russell is obviously still playing hard despite that.
