Starting as a quarterback in the NFL is a tall task, no matter how much experience a person has.
Quarterbacks are usually either blamed for a team’s failures or given high praise for their successes.
This high-pressure job is a lot for anyone, especially rookies who are expected to make an immediate impact.
While some are not up to the challenge, Dan Orlovsky has recently highlighted how impressed he is with Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts.
On an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Orlovsky said, “He’s a special talent and he’s going to the right place on a consistent basis with the football.”

Richardson’s prospect profile was heavily debated heading into the NFL Draft.
Some teams believed he had accuracy issues, while others believed he could perform similarly to Lamar Jackson.
Regardless of what teams believed before the draft, at least in Orlovsky’s eyes, Richardson is doing everything right.
In three games, Richardson has completed 56.9 percent of his passes, a number that has climbed each week.
He has only thrown one interception this season, furthering Orlovsky’s comments about his accuracy.
The Colts have struggled to find a franchise quarterback since the departure of Andrew Luck.
They haven’t been able to put a consistent product together, resulting in mixed results on a season-by-season basis.
Optimism is growing on Richardson, and it’s not just from Colts fans and Orlovsky.
He is slowly gaining more momentum in the public eye, and if he’s able to continue this trajectory, the sky is the limit for Richardson and the Colts moving forward.
