The outpouring of support keeps on coming for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin after a terrifying situation in Monday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The game was postponed, and players and fans showed their support for Hamlin.
On Tuesday, Hamlin’s family released a statement courtesy of Hamlin’s friend and rep Jordon Rooney.

“On behalf of our family, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the love and support shown to Damar during this challenging time. We are deeply moved by the prayers, kind words, and donations from fans around the country.”
The statement also sends appreciation to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the Bills organization, and even Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, who showed his support and was even seen driving away from the hospital.
Players, fans, and coaches were all in shock after seeing the tragic event unfold right in front of them.
Stefon Diggs was even seen at the hospital, forcing his way in to try and visit his teammate, and Josh Allen was seen in tears on the field.
The Bills returned to Buffalo late Monday evening, and Hamlin remains in critical condition as of Tuesday.
With so much anticipation for Monday’s game between the Bills and Bengals — two of the top teams in the AFC — nothing matters more at this time than the well-being of Hamlin.
The NFL has not announced any plans to resume the game or push back the schedule, although the main priority right now is the health of Damar Hamlin.
This is bigger than sports.
