According to most analysts, the Dallas Cowboys should be considered the third or fourth-best team in the NFC, and it’s hard to argue with that statement.
Their roster is stacked with good players, and even though there are some legitimate concerns about Mike McCarthy’s decision-making — especially in the postseason — they should find plenty of success next season.
Others are worried about Dak Prescott’s poor performances, and some believe he could be at serious risk of losing his job if he doesn’t get the job done this season.
However, that’s not a concern for Prescott at this moment.
When asked about their potential for next season, the Cowboys star raved about how stacked their offense was, pointing out the fact that they have plenty of playmakers and speed on that side of the ball:
“Yeah, a lot of speed. You can name a lot of guys,” Prescott said of the offense, via the team website. “(We have a) few guys that have speed but are playmakers. Speed is one thing, but to be a playmaker is another thing.”

The Cowboys were already good with star wideout CeeDee Lamb doing his thing, and Michael Gallup is also one of the most underrated wide receivers in the game.
Now, they’ve added a veteran playmaker in Brandin Cooks, who’s not in his prime anymore but still has a reliable pair of hands.
Tony Pollard also looks poised to break out now that he doesn’t have Ezekiel Elliott taking touches away from him.
Once again, most of the weight will fall on Prescott’s shoulders, and he’ll have to live up to his promise to take better care of the football in this upcoming campaign.
It’s been way too long since the Cowboys made it to the big game, and there’s no more room for excuses at this point.
