NFL coaches, players, scouts, and executives ranked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as the tenth-best quarterback in the league.
It’s hard to fault those who participated in that poll, especially after leading the Cowboys to 11 wins last season.
He also finished the regular season with 4,449 yards and 37 touchdowns.
Unfortunately, their promising season ended at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
Likewise, he is dealing with some ankle and shoulder injuries throughout the offseason.
However, Prescott himself assured Cowboys fans that it won’t be long before he returns to peak form.

He said, “A couple of weeks out and I’m in the best shape that I’ve ever been in. So, it’s time to ramp it up and get going. I feel like, since the injury, I’ve trained more functional than I have ever had. So, I see it in my body, I see it the way I move and how the ball is coming out.”
With Prescott returning to full health, the Cowboys are hoping to make a deep playoff run this time around.
Even after losing Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson, they still have Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz as their top receivers.
It would help, though, if Prescott feels loose and confident in making those throws.
Being at 100 percent will certainly help him elevate the game of everyone around him.
The Cowboys Are In For Some Competition
While the Cowboys are one of the top teams in the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles could give them a run for their money.
Prescott should be wary about Haason Reddick, who the Eagles signed this offseason.
They have also added James Bradberry to bolster their pass defense.
The Eagles offense could also match the Cowboys in both the pass and run games.
Therefore, it would take a valiant effort for Prescott to give Dallas another division title.
