The Dallas Cowboys will start their training camp for the 2022 NFL season on July 26 in Oxnard, California.
Both their rookies and their veterans will report on the same date.
The team hopes to have another crack at the playoffs after a disappointing finish to their campaign last season.
Despite having home-field advantage during the Wild Card Round, the Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers.
But the team has buried that in the past and is looking forward to a fresh start.
As they venture into the 2022 season, the Cowboys are bringing back their classic helmets.

The NFL’s official Twitter account revealed that the Cowboys will use their throwback helmets during Thanksgiving football.
It’s the helmet design they used in their early years and the team has used it sparingly over the years.
Their Thanksgiving game will fall on November 24 and it will be against the New York Giants.
Ironically, the Giants will also bring back their iconic blue jerseys from the 1980s and early 1990s in two games this season.
Other Alternate Helmets Announced
Aside from the Cowboys, the New England Patriots will also be using their throwback helmets featuring Patriot Pat.
Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers unveiled their black helmet to go with their all-black uniform.
In contrast, the Cincinnati Bengals will have a white helmet with tiger stripes.
The Houston Texans also introduced a red helmet as an alternate.
Aside from evoking nostalgia, alternate uniforms and helmets help drive merchandise sales up.
Football memorabilia collectors will go nuts about these releases because their prices could go up as they get rarer.
Therefore, the replica of the Cowboys helmet will command a hefty price, especially if it is signed by one of their top players.
