The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a rough season in which the team that had won the Super Bowl looked like a shell of its former self, with Sean McVay and company going 5-12 during the 2022 campaign, finishing third in the NFC West division.
With injuries taking a huge toll on this team last season, the Rams had high hopes of getting back on track in 2023 and potentially giving the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers a run for their money in the division.
Unfortunately, things have already gotten off on the wrong foot for the Rams, with superstar wide receiver Cooper Kupp going down with a hamstring injury recently, which will keep him out of Week 1’s showdown with the Seahawks, via Around The NFL.

After an incredible 2021 NFL season, Kupp became arguably the best wide receiver in the game, as he racked up big stats and helped the Rams win the Super Bowl.
Kupp finished with 1,947 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on 145 receptions, which resulted in his first All-Pro selection and the distinction as the league’s best wideout in the opinions of many.
Unfortunately, Kupp played in only nine games last season before being shut down for the year with an ankle injury.
Even though Kupp put up impressive numbers in a short amount of time last season, with 812 yards and six touchdowns on 75 catches, the 2023 campaign is starting off the same way the previous year ended for him, which doesn’t bode well for the Rams’ chances against the Seahawks in Week 1.
