Cooper Kupp is one of the league’s best wide receivers.
Kupp had a standout year for the Los Angeles Rams last season, where he was awarded the MVP in last year’s Super Bowl.
This season, Kupp, and the rest of the Rams have not had the best of seasons.
But, you cannot blame Kupp’s performances for the Rams’ poor season.
He has been injured since Week 10 and may miss the rest of the season with this injury.
To add further woes, quarterback Matthew Stafford has also been shut down with a spinal cord injury.
After playing a few weeks with backup quarterbacks, the Rams signed former Carolina Panther Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield made his Rams debut last night against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Rams would win the game, 17-16, with Mayfield leading the team on a game-winning drive.
After the game, Kupp responded to the Rams’ victory
Proud of these guys!! No quit baby!
And welcome to LA, @bakermayfield!

A Proud Teammate
Kupp’s reaction is one that was probably said by many connected to the Rams organization.
He said that he was “proud” of his teammates, before welcoming Mayfield to Los Angeles.
The receiver has many reasons to be proud of his team.
The Rams had lost their last six games, which is the worst losing streak for a defending Super Bowl champion in NFL history.
While this win will not change their fate, this shows that maybe all the Rams needed was a different quarterback, who has a bit more experience than two backups, to put them back into the win column.
Is Baker Mayfield that person?
