Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp finally got what he deserved after a season for the ages.
The team gave him a three-year, $80 million extension which keeps him in Los Angeles for five more years.
He also became one of the highest-paid wide receivers with this deal.
It’s an appropriate reward for one of the team’s brightest spots last season.
The former Eastern Washington standout became the fourth player in league history to win the wideout triple crown after leading the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
He also established an NFL record with 13 straight games of at least 90 receiving yards.
Kupp shone brighter on the game’s biggest stage by winning MVP honors in Super Bowl LVI.
His efforts also got him a First-Team All-Pro selection and the Offensive Player of the Year honors.
But even if the contract extension was supposed to be his crowning glory, he did not fail to thank the people who have helped him become successful.
He thanked the Rams organization, his coaches, and his family for the blessing via Twitter.
Likewise, he gave props to his quarterback, Matthew Stafford, in this photo on the Rams’ official Twitter account.

He represented the quarterback that trusted him to make plays.
They have developed solid chemistry that will be instrumental to the Rams’ success.
Locking In The Stafford-Kupp Tandem For Years
Aside from giving Kupp his extension, the Rams also rewarded Stafford with a four-year, $160 million extension.
Their respective contracts keep the core of the Rams’ offense intact.
Therefore, expect them to compete for more postseason victories and Super Bowls.
Now that they’ve won the ultimate prize together, it’s time they gave an even better encore.
