The Boston Celtics are once again back in the NBA Finals and there are lots of emotions swirling around that fact.
If you know anything about the NBA, you know that fans of the Celtics are enthusiastic and committed to their team, to put it gently.
So seeing their team make the Finals for the first time since 2010 is pretty emotional.
No one knows that better than stand-up comedian and lifelong Celtics fanatic, Bill Burr.
Bill Burr on NESN: "I don't have the emotional maturity to watch the Celtics in the NBA Finals in front of my kids." That might be the most relatable thing I've ever heard someone say.

Speaking on it the other day, Burr talked about what these Finals mean to him.
“I don’t have the emotional maturity to watch the Celtics in the NBA Finals in front of my kids,” Burr said.
He’s not alone with that sentiment: there are millions of fans who are feeling all sorts of intense emotions these days.
Boston Pride
For years now, fans of the Celtics have been waiting for the team to be in fine form yet again.
There have been a few bumps in the road and multiple instances where it seemed like the team was well on its way to being Finals contenders.
But they kept coming up short…and then came this year.
Although the 2021-22 season started badly, the team and new head coach Ime Udoka were able to turn things around in a huge way.
And now they are in the Finals and stand a good chance of winning it all.
That is more than enough to make any Celtics fan feel crazed and anxious and all sorts of things.
Burr saying that he can’t watch these Finals around his kids is smart.
No matter if they win or lose, Burr and many other fans of Boston are going to be wearing their emotions on their sleeves.
