While Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan isn’t likely to win any upcoming track meets, he is certain to make you smile when he decides to take off for a run.
Before this 39-yard dash, Ryan’s career-high longest rush was for 20 yards, back in 2010 when he was 25 years old.

In an impressive scamper, Matt Ryan, at age 37, had a career-long rushing attempt.
He ranks 38th on the 2022 listing of singular rushing attempts, ahead of running backs Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, and Alvin Kamara.
Thanks, Jeff Saturday!
NFL fans have a lot to be thankful for this season.
The 2022 NFL season has assuredly provided lots of laughs, entertainment, and pure joy.
This Matt Ryan highlight was certainly one of them, but it was only made possible by brand-new Indianapolis Colts coach, Jeff Saturday.
Before the hiring of Saturday, it appeared that former Colts Coach, Frank Reich, had given up on the season.
Reich was perfectly content in starting second-year quarterback, Sam Ehlinger, the former University of Texas prospect.
However, in his first game as head coach, Saturday decided that Ryan gave them the best possible chance to win, which is why he started over Ehlinger.
With Saturday at the helm, football fans across the nation are rooting for more Matt Ryan rushing highlights.
Is Jonathan Taylor‘s job as the Colts primary rusher in jeopardy?
Is Matt Ryan slated for more designed quarterback rushes?
Who knows? Maybe this coming week, we will see a 40+ yard run from Ryan.
Again, thank you, Jeff Saturday.
