The New York Jets are getting their first taste of the full Aaron Rodgers experience.
Rodgers had a very positive meeting with the team, and the Green Bay Packers have also reportedly accepted the Jets’ terms to get a trade done.
However — and even though it all points to him arriving in New York — No. 12 still hasn’t announced his decision to retire, play for the Packers, or be traded to the Jets.
This wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for the fact that the new year league will hit on Wednesday, March 15, and that both teams are pretty much depending on him before they can start making some more moves.
Rodgers knows that he can be a New York Jet, so there’s absolutely no reason to delay this decision other than adding to the drama and making more demands.
That’s why NFL analyst Colin Cowherd believes this is just tailor-made for what’s to come.
Cowherd warned the Jets about how things will be from now on with them and Rodgers, citing that it’ll be drama 24/7 and always on his terms.
"You can do everything he asks and you still have no idea where you stand with him… That is why this is so fitting."

That seems right on point with what he’s done to the Packers for years now and what he’s doing to this team even before he suits up for them just once.
Rodgers loves to be in control and to have all the leverage, and that remains true in this process with the Jets.
