The Golden State Warriors have had an up-and-down season so far this year.
After winning the NBA championship last year, they have run into many obstacles.
They currently have a record of 36-33 and that is good enough for fifth place in the Western Conference.
Like most seasons, the Warriors have been elite at home.
They are 29-7 at Chase Center, and that is the second-most home wins in the league.
But, on the road is where their season has gone haywire.
They are 7-26 on the road, and only the Spurs and Rockets have fewer road wins than them.
One of their biggest issues has been defensively.
They cannot seem to stop teams, especially on the road, and that is causing them to lose.
Among a team full of former All-Stars, one of their best defenders has not been able to play.
Forward Andrew Wiggins has been away from the team on a personal matter.
His timetable to return to the court is unknown.
According to Colin Cowherd, he is hearing that Wiggins might not return at all this season.
“I was told last night Andrew Wiggins likely doesn’t return for the season.”

Golden State has played most of the season without Wiggins, as he has only appeared in 37 of their 69 games.
Still, they would love to get him back at some point as he is a key factor on both ends of the floor.
It is pointless to speculate why Wiggins has missed all of this time.
But, the whole Warriors organization has supported Wiggins and will continue to do so while he is out.
