The Las Vegas Raiders have found their new quarterback.
After releasing Derek Carr, the Raiders needed to find a new starter for the 2023 season.
They have finally done that by agreeing to a deal with Jimmy Garoppolo.
Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports thinks this is a good move for the Raiders.
"Garoppolo is more than capable… You can win a lot of games with him."

After releasing Carr, the Raiders had to find a new QB.
Garoppolo has been given a three-year deal, which will pay him $67.5 million.
Playing in the AFC West, the Raiders will have to score points if they want any chance to win.
Garoppolo will have to match up against Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, just inside the division.
In the AFC, there is still Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence who will cause the Raiders problems.
Garoppolo will have some elite weapons to work with.
He has a true number-one wide receiver in Davante Adams.
Also, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller are very good players as well.
The Raiders still have problems on the defensive side of the ball that need to be addressed.
So, thinking this move vaults them into true a tier with the AFC contenders is false.
But, Garoppolo is good enough to take this team to the playoffs with the roster around him.
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels now gets a quarterback he is familiar with and someone that can run his offense.
It will be interesting to see how good the Raiders can be next season.NEXT: The Raiders Have Reportedly Not Ruled Out A Blockbuster QB Move
